The Oyo State Government in a proactive move have stormed Orogun-UI area of Ibadan North, Ibadan, Oyo State Capital over a report of illegal refuse dumping into the drainage while rain was falling.
A X formerly Twitter user identified as Connect Ibadan has shared a development on his handle noting that the people of the Orogun-UI are fond of dumping refuse in waterways whenever rain falls.
“Why do people do this every time? Small rain, these people in Orogun -UI are already dumping refuse in the drainage”. He tweeted.
Four days after, A X user in response to the tweet shared pictures of environmental officers who visited the apartment captured in the video shared.
People in the commenr sections also invited environmental officers to visit areas like Olomi Academy, Oranyan, Beere axis of the state capital.
