The 2025 Honda Accord hybrid sees minimal changes and a $760 price increase over the 2024 model.
The hybrid version of Honda’s mid-size sedan costs $34,750 with the mandatory $1,095 destination charge. In keeping with Honda’s strategy of positioning hybrids as higher-end grades, the cheapest hybrid Sport grade is priced above the gasoline-only LX and new-for-2025 SE grade, which cost $29,390 and $31,655, respectively.

Honda also offers the hybrid powertrain in $36,035 EX-L, $36,470 Sport-L, and $40,395 Touring grades. Changes for 2025 include standard rear air-conditioning vents and USB-C ports for all models, as well as standard heated front seats and a wireless phone charger for the Sport model.
Unchanged is the two-motor hybrid powertrain, which does away with the need for anything resembling a conventional transmission and sees the Atkinson-cycle 2.0-liter inline-4 act as a generator most of the time. A combined output of 204 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque is sent to the front wheels. Honda has for many years been planning all-wheel drive hybrids, which will use an additional electric motor to power the rear wheels exclusively, but it hasn’t confirmed when they will arrive.

Also unchanged are EPA fuel economy ratings of 48 mpg combined (51 mpg city, 44 mpg highway) for the EX-L and 44 mpg combined (46 mpg city, 41 mpg highway) for all other models.
The current-generation Accord—the 11th for the long-running sedan—debuted for the 2023 model year. Green Car Reports found it to be a significant improvement over the outgoing model. Since then the rival Hyundai Sonata and Toyota Camry hybrids have received updates, with the latter dropping non-hybrid powertrains altogether while adding an all-wheel drive option.
