The injury-riddled Toronto Blue Jays have another player dealing with a health concern.
Centre fielder Kevin Kiermaier was a late scratch from the starting lineup on Friday because of lower back tightness, the team said.
Daulton Varsho will replace Kiermaier in the lineup and bat eighth against the New York Yankees.
An excellent defender, Kiermaier is off to a slow start at the plate this season with just one hit in 18 at-bats.
