The 2024 NFL Draft was one of the most exciting in recent history.
There were several impressive players taken in the first round, but the quarterback position has been lauded throughout the offseason.
Six quarterbacks were selected in the first 12 picks, an indication of what teams thought of these players.
Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels were viewed as the consensus top two of the group, but after that, it was said to be a wild card.
Bo Nix has started to play exceptionally well, both in preseason games and in training camp.
He has turned heads in recent weeks and has even made an analyst like Colin Cowherd make a bolder statement than normal.
As he mentioned via The Volume Sports, “Hot take, Bo Nix is the best quarterback this year out of the crop,” Cowherd said.

Not only does Cowherd believe Nix is playing better than anticipated, but he genuinely believes he is outplaying Williams and Daniels.
This might come as a shock to many, considering Williams was viewed as one of the best quarterback prospects in recent history.
However, it is hard to deny what Nix has done to this point, and he only appears to be getting better with time.
The Denver Broncos might have found a diamond in the rough, something they might not have expected when they drafted Nix.
He hasn’t played an official game yet, but all signs are pointing to Nix being their starter for the 2024 campaign, and perhaps, for the foreseeable future.
