In an official statement, the family expressed their disappointment with these baseless rumors, describing them as both false and deeply distressing, especially during their time of grief.

The family also clarified that there is no dispute regarding the estate of the late bank executive. “To clarify, Pastor Shyngle Wigwe has never sought 20% of the estate of the late Herbert Wigwe, and no such request has been made by any family member.
