For better or worse, the Philadelphia Eagles have one of the most passionate — if not the most passionate — fanbases in all sports.
That’s why the players can either go down as public enemy No. 1 or actual legends, and that kind of duality and risk isn’t for everybody.
Nonetheless, that’s not the case with their new star CB, Cooper DeJean.
Talking to Kay Adams for her “Up & Adams” show, the Iowa product stated that he’s already loving the fans.

He claimed that he watched them from afar, but now that he’s officially a part of Eagles Nation, he just loves the way they’ve embraced him already.
DeJean was one of the best DB prospects in this year’s class.
He was projected to be a first-round pick, yet somehow slipped all the way to the No. 40 selection in the second round.
Once again, Eagles GM Howie Roseman found a way to make moves and strike gold in the NFL Draft, addressing perhaps their biggest area of need as they look to bounce back and get back to the big game after a disappointing campaign.
Eagles fans are radical and passionate about their players, and you’re going to be just fine in the City of Brotherly Love for as long as you leave it all on the gridiron, regardless of whether you win or lose.
So, DeJean will now have to play with the same grit and fire that made him such a special talent when he played for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
