The Manchester Originals finally broke through when Scott Currie dismissed Kohler-Cadmore on the 21st delivery. With just 39 runs needed from 75 deliveries, the Fire’s appeared to be in a commanding position. Paul Walter then removed Bairstow on the 28th delivery bringing captain Tom Abell to the crease. The Welsh skipper alongside Joe Clarkesteadily guided the Welsh side closer to victory needing just 21 more runs from 55 deliveries. The pair comfortably steered their team to an eight-wicket win, reaching the target with 43 balls to spare.
