Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has expressed uncertainty regarding the return of defender Reece James this season.
The 24-year-old underwent surgery on his injured hamstring in December, and Dr. Lasse Lempainen, who is overseeing his treatment, initially estimated a three to four-month recovery period.
However, when asked for an updated timeline, Pochettino admitted, “No, I don’t know.”
He explained that it is difficult to provide a definitive answer as he does not want to make false promises.
Pochettino emphasized that the situation will be assessed on a weekly basis, and the team remains hopeful that James will be available for the end of the season.
