USC lands five-star WR Jerome Myles

Date:

Jerome Myles, a five-star wide receiver recruit, is the latest big-time prospect to join Lincoln Riley and the USC Trojans.

Myles, ranked as the No. 5 wideout in the nation, according to 247Sports, committed to USC on Wednesday, choosing the Trojans over Utah, Texas A&M, Ohio State and Georgia. He had a big-time offer list, with nearly 30 offers to his name, and that top five features quite a few blue blood programs.

In the end, though, it was Riley and the USC staff that really stood out for Myles.

“Definitely the staff made it a pretty easy pick,” Myles told On3, regarding his commitment. “They all have experience with NFL players and know how to develop them. Also, the life outside of football is something different there. You can be successful in anything you choose.”

Myles is 6-foot-2, 210 pounds, so he already profiles as a college receiver. As a junior, he caught 19 passes for 586 yards and six touchdowns, averaging 25.6 yards per catch, meaning he’s a big play waiting to happen. He also has proven to be able to step up in big moments. He caught five passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns in the Utah 6A state championship game last season in a win.

USC now has 20 commitments in its 2025 class, with Myles checking in as the highest-rated.

“Jerome Myles is arguably the most physically gifted pass catcher in the 2025 cycle,” On3’s Director of Scouting Charles Power said.

With no doubt, this is a great recruiting win for Riley and USC.
