The New York Giants might be in the market for a new quarterback sooner rather than later.
As hard as it might be to believe it, Daniel Jones has thrown more pick-sixes (3) than touchdown passes (2) since he signed that $160 million contract extension.
The fans have lost their patience with him, and they started burning down his jersey after yet another subpar game (via Barstool Sports).
The Daniel Jones jersey burnings are going about as well as Daniel Jones played today

Jones was booed on and off the field after his season debut, and it’s almost impossible to make a case for him or be optimistic about any sort of improvement at this point.
Some might argue that his offensive line has never been very good or that he hasn’t had many weapons around him.
But we’ve seen great quarterbacks at least look good out there or get their numbers despite their situations, such as Matthew Stafford with the Detroit Lions.
Jones, on the other hand, has rarely given the fans any reason to think he’s a starting-caliber quarterback.
His so-called breakout season saw him throw for just 3,205 yards and 15 touchdown passes, so even his best wasn’t impressive at all.
The Giants structured Jones’ contract in a way that they could move on from him after this season, and barring a major turn of events, that’s likely going to happen.
The fans don’t trust him anymore, and GM Joe Schoen’s decision to choose him over Saquon Barkley might go down as one of the absolute worst misjudgments in the history of pro sports management.
